Trip to the Ancient Egypt!

I think everyone, at least once in their lifetime, has thought about what would they do if the time machine was invented. 

I don’t know about you, but I will definitely travel to the past, but especially to the Ancient Egypt. 

I’ve always been interested in Egyptian culture, like their gods, their life philosophy, how they built the Giza pyramids and how nobody knows how they made them (even though we all know that the aliens did it), and especially to see how they venerate cats haha! 

So, for this hypothetical trip, I will definitely go with my brother, because he likes Egyptian culture as much as I do and because he knows a lot about it! He will help me tour around there!

There we will visit the pyramids, get to know their culture and secrets, try to understand their papyrus (a very difficult task, we know), visit the catacombs, get to know the now extinct Alexandria’s library, try to find Cleopatra’s grave and more things that we will figure out when we get there!

But I don’t know if we will stay there forever though! We love the Ancient Egypt culture, but I don’t think that we could survive without today's technology! And, by the way, we will not like to see slaves around there either haha!

My future job

 Hi! 

My name is Antonia and I’m a dental student and I’m really thinking about being a maxillofacial surgeon when I finish university. 

Surgery is a challenging and tough area in medicine but for me it's really interesting and fun. Although this will be an indoor job (because most surgeons work in clinics and hospitals), this job really fits me. I think of surgery as a job that everyday you will face different medical cases and challenges. I love that because I really hate routine. I want to live different things everyday. 

The reason why I chose that job it’s not just for the money and good salary but because I’m very passionate about surgery in general. You really need precision and it’s almost like an art honestly! And I think I will work in a public hospital so I can interact with diverse people. 

I know a lot of people want the same as me, so the pressure of competing with other people scares me but  I'm preparing myself for sleepless hours of pure study and keeping myself strong so I can get this major.

So excited and scared at the same time.

The best concert I've been to: Harry Styles

 I’ve loved Harry Styles since he was a young man in One Direction, a boy band from England that split out in 2015.

Now, Harry is a 29 years old man, and seeing him sing live his own songs was a dream come true. 

The concert took place at the Bicentenario La Florida Stadium on December 1st, 2022, and it was amazing! 

This was my second concert ever and I went with my best friend Alicia. We bought the tickets back in 2019 but because of the Coronavirus pandemic the concert was postponed.

But the wait was woeth it! 

I was far from the stage but it didn't even matter because we still could see and hear Harry very well! 

Even though the crowd was kind of wild sometimes (they were punching each other and some were fighting!) The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was really excited to see Harry. Everybody was singing and dancing along. The crowd was really electryfing.

It was definitely an amazing concert with the perfect company! Such a good time and such a good memory.

A place that I will definitely go: Australia

 A place that I’ve always wanted to go, since I was a little child, it’s Australia! 

People say that Australia it’s such a lovely and interesting place, especially for it’s natural landscapes and interesting wildlife. 

Even though, I have to admit, I hate big bugs and kangaroos (they are so scary, they can literally beat a person to the ground!), it doesn't stop me from wanting to go. 

If I ever have the privilege to go to Australia, I would like to work there because the Australian government gives so many opportunities to foreigners so they can work there. I’ve heard that the pay is good as well! 

But, apart from working, I would like to visit so many places! 

First of all, I’d like to watch a concert at the Sydney Opera House. Second of all, I would like to go to the coast so I can look for some Quokkas (come on, they are so cute!). And last but not least, I would like to visit the beaches, so I can learn how to surf!
